Guest Graham in NZ Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Along the raised handlebar threads it's evident that many people limit their options by not wanting to fit longer brake hoses. I can recommend the stainless steel BH-Global system of hoses and fittings. Their banjos have a male thread and long, narrow spigot tube to receive screw on hose ends. The hoses themselves have factory-made ends and captive sleeve nuts and come in 1" increments up to about 2' and 2" increments after that. Assembling the hoses onto the banjos is foolproof and 100% effective. Simply lube the spigot with brake fluid, fit the hose and tighten the sleeve nut until it bottoms solidly. An internal seal is automatically set at the correct compression. Factory made hose ends are demanded in NZ and probably elsewhere, and these hoses pass local standards. Older hoses with custom made ends can be removed and new hoses fitted onto the existing banjos using this system. QED Graham
