I'm hoping that someone has found a better location for mounting the Power Commander rather than under the rear cowl. This location does not allow easy viewing of the LED indicators and the buttons.

Much earlier in the forum I can remember Al describing an alternative location for the PC III. Perhaps there are other ideas too.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I removed the toolkit and placed it in the cowl, then used padded tape on the toolkit bay and velcroed the PC on...heres a pic

Thanks Brian, I'm impressed with your quick reply especially with photo.

Your location is where I have it for the moment, the tools will have to stay at home until I'm done tweaking (over-optimistic?). If there's no other cunning place for it to hide, it will return to the cowling space to allow the return of the tools.

I did just about the same as Brian, only turned it 90 degrees so I could squeeze my tire repair kit, spare spark plug, and fuses behind it. I put the Guzzi toolkit up in the rear cowl. The PCIII fits real well in there.

I put mine on my helmet so I could watch all the lights flash on and off. Then I got tired of plugging it in and out.

Plus, the aluminum foil hat was chafing, right? :P:

Do you fellows have the stock airbox? Is under the tank a viable option or too far from the ECU?
