antonio carroccio Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Sorry man, I am a very simple man and I don’t get this thread. WHAT DO YOU SAY???
callison Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Antonio, there was a Moto Guzzi rally in Italy, Texas last weekend. The U.S.A. has a lot of towns with names of places or countries in Europe. It can get confusing. Moscow in Idaho, Italy in Texas etc.

Guest Tony Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 I made it and had a good time! Rode back to Houston with Mike Haven and kept up with him in the twisties. Of course he was on his brothers EV with worn out tires! TonyBologna
twhitaker Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Indiana has towns by the names of Peru, Chili, Mexico, Brazil, Angola, Holland, New Palestine, Norway, West Lebanon, and Santa Claus.
callison Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Chili is food. Funny, I would've expected that name to crop up in a town in Texas...
twhitaker Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Even funnier, they pronounce it Chiiiliiie with the "i" like a "y" instead of an "e". Peru is pronounced Pee-ru instead of Per-u. Santa Claus is in Switzerland county.
