Baldini
Will front mudguard/fender off early Mille R fit straight on a Scura? Are Mille R Ohlins guard mount points same as Scura, which model year? 00?01?02? I'm looking for a guard to protect the fork stanchions better than std. Mille R c/f one looks like it would work. Paul Minnaert
That's the same, as long as you don't get one from the radial forked types. So all rsv until 2003 will go, on any scura®/cafe sport/rosso/nero. I have one mounted, but that's sold to italy already.
antonio carroccio
Do they fix also in the V11 Le Mans? I mean the diameter of the plate is 54 mm. Under and upper. Has the Ohlins front fork of the Aprilia until 2003 these diameter???
Paul Minnaert
No antonio, rsv is 56/51mm No other ohlins is 54/54.

Paul Minnaert
The radial from 2003 is 51, and I know there is a diffence between stock and ohlins on rsv, because they need other clamps for ohlins. Bur anyway, rsv isn't going to fit.
zebulon
Aren't they 53,5/56??? 35614[/snapback] To complete Paul's answer. My Ohlins fork from Ducati 999 R is a 53 / 53 one. Different with the older one for 748/916/996/998 which are some 53 / 56 mm ... By the way Paul i measure the bolts tonight promise
Paul Minnaert
That is stange, because the aftermarket road and track for a 999 is 56/53. So they changed it for the R, and other tripleclamps. maybe they changed the offset too.

This is the same triple clamp on a 999 S & 999 R. Only difference is the lower part of the fork, 999 R got the radial calipers when 999 S got the "standard" calipers. Paul Minnaert
This is the same triple clamp on a 999 S & 999 R The part numbers are different :-) But that doesn't tell the size. But anyway who cares?? It's only that I can't understand why they change it so often.
