the rear mono shock on my 2001 v11 sport rosso was leaking oil so i sent it to iowa for a rebuild. talked to my guy out there and he said he took everything completely apart, checked the seals, and could find nothing wrong except for the fact that the nitrogen was completely gone in the regulator. he said if the regulator had leaked there would be tell-tale moisture. there was none! he reassembled the shock, filled it back up with oil and nitro and has detected no leaks thus far.

we got to wondering if by chance this shock was faulty from the start with not enough nitro in the res to put pressure on the seals, and then the leaking began!

i'm going to put this white power shock back into my bike and hope for the best. has anyone heard of anything like this before? thanx scre :D
