Paul Minnaert Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 david, They make a 4valve watercooled conversionkit for guzzi 2v engines. You can translate with http://www.freetranslation.com/ The first prototype can be seen on my website, picture from 6 years ago.
jrt Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 That's cool. Paging Jim....Paging Helicopterjim.... please meet your party at the the G&G factory booth....
al_roethlisberger Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 ....what's the cost for the 2V and 4V versions? I bet it's pricey, and I wonder how reliable, esp on the street?? Anyone use one of these conversions for more than a season at the track? Neat
al_roethlisberger Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Those engines are hot! 37654[/snapback] .........I hope not, I mean after all, that's the point of being liquid cooled!
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Doesn't liquid cooling allow the engine to run at higher temperatures with better control of temperature variations?
Paul Minnaert Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 No idea of price, but I bet you are the first worldwide to own one. So there is no long term experience. You can handle that or not :-) IF the head doesn's crack, else there isn't anything used what a good engineshop can't replair.
