Guzzirider Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Skipton?? I been there, nice little town. I have to say though that Theakstons ESB is way better in Masham than Skipton. They spin the barrels softer! Ciao, Steve G. 77847[/snapback] Hi Steve Theakstons have now been sold to a large brewery chain and are no longer independent. The guy who used to own the company has set up his own small brewery in Masham and sells a great beer called Black Sheep which is now more popular than Theakstons. Regards Guy

docc Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 You gotta love a bunch of guys that get over busted shock links so quick and go back to pints and riding. . . . but not at the same time. . .
anton Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 I Think corrosion should be the problem. Due to the corrosion the shock gets more resistance while riding , if you do not solve the problem the tension gets to high and the bottom bracket cracks. The bottom of the shock is in trouble while riding in rain and salty roads. The solution is to grease the joints and a good mudguard to keep the sh#t away. Anton
mike wilson Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 The solution is to grease the joints anda good mudguard to keep the sh#t away. Grease nipples and mudguards that work. There's a thought right out of the last century.
