Got the Staintunes today..

Couple of things I noticed..

1) They're not as loud with the baffles removed as my drilled stock cans.. My judgement may be impaired by any loss of hearing I've suffered as a result of the Arrow can on the red bike.

2) They look really cool.

3) They went on easier than a Scottish Regiment's condom

Regards, Tim

Sorry for the delay.. wanted to wait for a sunny day..

Here are a couple of shots. Was out riding the Tuono yesterday and then the Guzzi a little today.. The Staintunes really aren't that loud. but a very nice bass sound to them

I got mine through PipeCity.com and got a pretty good price I think. Surprisingly they were less expensive than the CF options, but I think you have to factor in the look of a pipe too.. If you want black to match the black bike then you are kinda stuck w/ CF.

Ah thanks Tim, looks fantastic! I wonder how they sound compared to the Guzzi Ti pipes ....

but what about the 2-1-2 collector?

yeah yeah, i'm hung up on it. but that's the kicker in the pack i ride in, a "full exhaust" is trick, slip-ons are not.

have i heard it's like the dutch with power commanders?

and on a non-coolfactor note, do you think a full staintune or quat-d weighs less?

i think it was one of the euros that said if you didn't have a power commander you wouldn't get the time of day. or something to that effect. no offence mean't

Hey Bento,

Are you thinking of the full staintune set up for the Sportis, Daytonas, and Centauros?

It consists of headers, crossover, and slip-ons.

I could probably be FORCED to fit our bike, but the Sportis have the engine off centered from the frame, it would probably require some coercing.

Perhaps Carl Allison, has matched up his Sporti system with his six speed?

yeah, check this out. you'll have to select staintune and then guzzi...

'tunes

it says there is a collector for the v-11. but doesn't show them on anything but a daytona. i don't get it.
