I read where Yamaha quit selling the 660 motor to MZ because they were planning on releasing their own version to the US. Maybe the XT660r is it

 

As far as the Quota is concerned, I felt it was to top heavy & over geared for to be a real dual purpose bike. It's a great commuter bike though with a piss poor headlight . I bought one because I thought it would be great alternative to the sport. I was wrong.

The Quota was not ugly enough to make it in the Adventure bike arena.
