Martin Barrett Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Is this the basis of future Guzzi V Twins , only a little bit more development required?
Guest Brian Robson Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I used to have a CX500 and thought it was the bee's knees until the cam chain tensioner exploded at 100 mph on the A1...EEk!
tikkanen Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Damn you Brian, go to work! I got some CTO (compensation time off) so I thought I could sit here quietly and gain quiz points but who has a chance when you are in da house? Oh yeah, the good old CX 500 aka "The Plastic Pig"... I took my driving licence test on a CX 500 Turbo, beat that! Søren
GuzzTim Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 the summer my wife and I were getting married my friend went out to BC and left us his CX500.. we used to zip back and forth to church each Sunday on it... until the minister decided we'd attended enough for his blessing and in marrying us he'd finally rid the congregation of their only bikers
Guest Nogbad Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 A guy in our office commutes 40 miles to work all year round on an old nail of a CX500 that has over 200,000 miles on it. On the original engine. Unfortunately as a bike it is PUG UGLY!
Dirtybill Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 If Guzzi went to that type of engine, I think a full fairing over it would also be advisable.
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 I used to have a CX500 and thought it was the bee's knees until the cam chain tensioner exploded at 100 mph on the A1...EEk! 43078[/snapback] Why doesn't Brian get a quiz point?
