helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 .....and this one! Oh yes! For this last one you must name the engine manufacturer!
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 Amendment: The engine manufacturer for the first motorbike must be named as well as the country the engine was manufactured in.
TX REDNECK (R.I.P.) Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 .....and this one!Oh yes! For this last one you must name the engine manufacturer! 43791 Â I'm going to give up . Is the engine a Douglas ?
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 The third one is a BMW? 43809 Please elaborate. (there is a clue)
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 Correct. It is a BMW logo. Is that the manufacturer of the motorbike or the engine - or both?
Admin Jaap Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 The engine is BMW. The bike probably isn't, because it's good looking I'll do some googling to find out.
big J Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 The first one is a Brough Superior called "coppernob" I think it was used at Brooklands for record attempts in the twenties
Guest Nogbad Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 The first one is a Brooklands track bike known as Copperknob. I think the engine was either an Anzani or a JAP. Both UK manufactured.
