helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 21, 2005 Author Posted February 21, 2005 No offence intended, just that Harrison Hot Springs sounded somewhat colonial 43877[/snapback] About 130 km east of Vancouver, BC, Canada's worth of colonial. Those ones to the south are the rebellious ones who changed their last name! It's not a Cotton either. the engine make has been mentioned earlier but not confirmed.
big J Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Im guessing then that the engine is the Anzani -could the bike be a McEvoy Anzani

Martin Barrett Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 The 1923 Temple Anzani was a special machine built by Claude Temple in the UK, using a French built Anzani engine. A magnificent looking machine, this machine set a record of 174.6km/h on the banked Brooklands circuit in Oct 1923. Two years later constructor Claude Temple became the first man to cover 100 miles in an hour on a motorcycle using this bike.
