jrt Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 OK, I need the brand and designer. Year if you can get it, but it was a one-year bike.
jrt Posted February 23, 2005 Author Posted February 23, 2005 And of course, you can tell nothing from that, so here's a couple of engine details.
DeBenGuzzi Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 It looks a lot like the 1924 guzzi 500 racer, but this one looks newer than that.
TX REDNECK (R.I.P.) Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 It's Linto 500 GP 1969 Little-known fact: Lino Tonti designed a race bike called the "Linto" just before he was hired at Moto Guzzi. The engine in the Linto was essentially two Aermacchi top ends grafted onto a single crankcase Btw this is the first one that I have seen that was red . The pics in Classic Bike show several green ones
DeBenGuzzi Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 AARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH, damn it, I was chomping at the bit on that one. well bullocks, back to doing nothing.
