richard100t Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I was riding my RM today (in 30 degree weather), it just turned 500 miles. I stalled it out leaving a light. Of course with it being pretty cold I was wearing very bulky winter gloves. Anyway I started it back up & popped the clutch....wow! The front end came off the ground, then I hit second pretty hard & the rear end actually broke loose :!: I thought the front end was going to come back up again but it didnt. The rear end just slid a little to the right, caught traction, straightened back up & barreled off like a bat out of hell. Pretty impressive seeing as how I didnt break 5500 rpm. Maybe it was the cold weather...anyone elses v11 do that?
