Guest Fox Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 The firm has also revealed that only four of its high spec V11 Scura R bikes will be coming to the UK, priced at £8579. The new Breva V1100 will be arriving in the UK in June and the Griso naked bike should arrive by October. Only four Scuras will make the UK http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=mot...=NEWS_NEW-BIKES
al_roethlisberger Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 heh ....what, did MG only stock enough "special paint" for the Scura "R" to make enough to ship merely 4 to the UK Although a nice bike, AFAIK there is nothing too terribly special about the "R" over a standard Cafe Sport, or other Ohlins equipped 2004+ Sport. than the special color scheme/striping ....although I have to admit it is a nice looking bike al
Guest Fox Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Yes .. er.. that shiny black paint is hard to come by You wonder really why they would bother .... I wonder if it will be the last 'new' V11 released before the Griso arrives?
Paul Minnaert Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I suppose they expect that there are only 4 people in the Uk that will buy one. I'm sure if I order 10 , I can get 10. They only have to replaint a few balalbio's, add some ohlins and ready.

kenr Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 For me the bigger dissapointment in the article is that it takes so long to get new bikes like the Griso out. Who's gonna buy one of those in October ! It's a shame to see Guzzi miss out on what could be really a really successful opportunity given the state of the company - if they could launch that and the MGS01 in time for summer I might even raid my savings account
Paul Minnaert Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 in time for summer it's always in time for summer, what year?
DeBenGuzzi Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I get some more miles under my belt on the sport and that griso will almost certiantly be the replacement for my V11, I'll have to change out the clunky megaphone style exhaust right away but it'll still be sweet!
