I hope the thieves are stupid enough to try to sell it in one piece then they have a good chance to get busted and you get ms Daytona back. Never underestimate the stupidity of stupid people...
Alex-Corsa Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Ohh s**t. I wish you find your bike ASAP.I'll keep my eyes open about it. Piece of info. Ralph Werner Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 What a bitch! Lets all keep a sharp lookout on ebay for anything Daytona related.
big J Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Dirty rotten scum sucking maggots. I'm driving a truck across uk and Ireland, many other truckers are also bikers, I will pass round pics, someone may see or hear something. Rest assured, if the vermin are found, they will be shown no mercy. Some of us have had bikes stolen too.
Alex-Corsa Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I will pass round pics, We need pics ... They are important
al_roethlisberger Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 ..... people are unbelievable <_> You know, just thinking.... I wonder if the bozos that stole the bike were such idiots that they thought at first glance it was an MGS-01? After all it is red, and has the big square engine sticking out I'm serious. Otherwise, one has to wonder. Although the Daytona is a nice bike, MGs other than perhaps your special SuperTwin really aren't high on the list of bikes that get knicked these days... at least here in the USA where GSXRs and R1s are stolen daily. Thieves just don't know what to do with a Guzzi Nuts al
dlaing Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Thieves just don't know what to do with a Guzzi Nuts 47340[/snapback] Many years ago, my V65 was stolen. I got it back three months later. It was joy rided and crashed, but all the parts were there, and it was rideable. The worst part was paying the $200 impound and towing fee. What a raquet. If it was a popular bike, I am sure it would have been parted out. One benefit of owning a Guzzi. Zeb, I hope you get it back, soon. We feel your pain.
