I stopped to help a couple guys today while I was riding my bike. This guy & his friend both had new scooters & one wouldnt start. He had full electric power...lights,turn signals, but no brake light! I told him that it was probably a bad relay unit, & that since he had to hold the brake to start it the computer wasnt getting the signal that the brake was being applied. They said they were both close to home & they would be fine so I went home. Any opinions as to my advice? I'm no mechanic but I'm a v11lemans frequent visitor :D:mg: I know the quality of those relays poor guy...that thing had just 400 miles on it, I told him to buy a few extra relays & keep them in the scooter somewhere. Come to think of it I should take my own advice & get some relays too!

Never heared about a problem like this(that for sure they exist) , but keeping relays on the bike (any bike) is a wise thing to do.
