Guest lowgloss Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Was searching for parts for my new Speed Triple and came across this site...Jack Lilley if you look you will find some interesting pieces for the V11 (listed as "Road Racing Moto Guzzi V11") such as a fender eliminator kit and a rear hugger.
DeBenGuzzi Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I really really like the rear hugger especially if it works. But all that stuff is serious Bank $$$
al_roethlisberger Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Fortunately(for me, as it keeps me from spending more $$ ) ... personally I don't find that most of his parts fit the aesthetic of the V11's design very well
Admin Jaap Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Al, you should have opted for a diplomatic career! These parts are just ugly
biesel Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I agree with Jaap! See how ugly a V11 looks with all that Roadracing crap mounted:

Hmm theres a metal shop where I work...maybe if I buy an english wheel, learn how to use it..lol nah too much trouble
Guzzirider Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Why add bloody great lumps of metal to a bike that is already a heavyweight? I remember a while back a guy over here took his V11 to a weigh bridge and even taking into account the weight of the fluids, it was way over Guzzi's claimed dry weight of 221kg. Can't remember exactly what the final reading was but it was closer to 250kgs. The owner concluded that his bike was constructed of "heavyminium"! Guy
