callison Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Because dammit, I'm at home with an e coli infection and it will be months before the doctor will allow me to ride a bike again. I like you guys and all and I wouldn't miss this forum for the world, but... I want to ride my bike!
Guest Dave Pott Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Damn Carl! What'd do eat a bad burrito or something Actually, it sounds serious. Hope you're doing O.K. Good luck.
dlaing Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I know it is not the same, especially since the weather has been so nice, maybe an exercycle, a big screen tv, and videos of the Isle of Man, will help get you through this rough period. You could even put on your helmet But follow the doctor's orders, we want to see you well soon.
al_roethlisberger Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Carl, I am beginning to think that someone has put a curse upon you. What did you do? <_>
Ralph Werner Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Sorry to hear that Carl - E. coli can be a real mean S.O.B. Make a fast recovery.
DeBenGuzzi Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Carl, I am beginning to think that someone has put a curse upon you. What did you do? <_> 48678 youre one to talk Al I think you gots a hex yourself. whens the bike going to be ready 2006?
Guest Nogbad Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 What does e-coli do to you that makes riding a bike inadvisable? You can get adult size diapers.....
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 What does e-coli do to you that makes riding a bike inadvisable? You can get adult size diapers..... 48696 That depends.... (Someone had to say it!)
Guest Nogbad Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Maybe he needs one of those fast jet helmets that can extract the vomit without interfering with control......
Admin Jaap Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Carl, best wishes and keep the porcelain side down... Good luck!
jrt Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 No kidding- E. coli can be a real nasty one. I hope you get well soon Carl. Would yogurt help to repopulate the intestines (assuming it's that)? J
Guest aironepony Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Maybe he needs one of those fast jet helmets that can extract the vomit without interfering with control...... 48698 This fascination with vomit is starting to get a hold of you...be careful.
callison Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 What does e-coli do to you that makes riding a bike inadvisable? You can get adult size diapers..... 48696 The e coli infection is in the prostate. A motorcycle seat is a great irritant for this one. I sort of want to keep my prostate. Even more than my bikes...
badmotogoozer Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Sorry to hear that Carl. If it makes you feel any better I'm out of commission too, stuck watching the bikes enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Separated shoulder... cheers buddy! Ryan
