CIV11 Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 First thanks to the persons that make this site what it is. Tomorrow I will take delivery of my 1st V11, I currently have a 2003 Stone which I am keeping. I've had one other Guzzi a 75 850 T which I no longer have. To put it briefly, I have just purchased a V11 that I've been transfixed by. The bike, without doubt, exceeds my capabilites as a rider now. I hope not to bore with dumb questions that I'm going to ask. -Hal
tomsp Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 welcome to the group. Good choice in bikes. Where in CA do you live. In norcal we have kind of an active type group who ride together sometimes. I had a '75 too, but not a mg
Mike Stewart Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Hal, Welcome to the V11 board! I believe I know you on your stone. What made you go toward the V11 series? Yes, I am the one on the Green V11 Sport and 03 Rosso and proud new owner of a 03 Ghezzi & Brian. By the way, I also have a 2000 Jackal project in the works. Mike Stewart , Oakland CA

You will enjoy your new bike, just take your time with it and you will like the way it feels. Which bike are you taking to Arizona? Mike
GuzzTim Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Hey Hal Welcome to the bright side !! I look forward to riding with y'all on the V11s Cheers, Tim
CIV11 Posted April 19, 2005 Author Posted April 19, 2005 Wow, what a bike. Now, I know what Tim means by the bright side. I had a wonderful weekend getting to know the Coppa Italia. I will need many more. It is very hard to keep the Revs down for the breakin period I'm used to my Stone, and the horn and turn indicators are reversed, so I went around blowing the horns for unintentionally. I'll try to post a link for a couple quick pics. Hope it works. -Hal My Webpage
DeBenGuzzi Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Man I really like that Copa I think I might have mine painted to match at some point in the near future. Cause I also like the red frame mine has and I can't see selling mine to get a new one with different paint. call me crazy
