CIV11 Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I was hoping to remove the sticker from the sub fender which gives idle settings and exhaust disclaimers from the new Coppa and save it. It only wants to come off in in little pieces so I stoppped. Any suggestions? I did try a little heat from a blow dryer, I'm loving this new Guzzi. -Hal

Get a tiny bit lifted and then keep swabbing some turpentine on with a cue tip or small brush.
Mike Stewart Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Hal, I have tried with a heat gun and with adhesive remover and the sticker still came off in pieces . I figure it was better to damage the sticker than the paint it was coming off of. You have a very good looking bike Hal! See you soon, Mike
jrt Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Will removing the sticker cause a problem later on if you resell the bike or register in another state?
al_roethlisberger Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Hair dryer... will peel right off in one piece. I wouldn't worry too much about registration, unless you are coming TO California al
