big J Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 If the misalignment is in the bearing locating bore, is there enough material to have it bored out and a steel sleeve inserted to true up the bearings relative to the rim? Alternatively, a bearing factor may have a bearing of the same load / speed rating but with a slightly greater o/d which would let you get away with a light clean up cut on a lathe to true up the bore. I wouldn't take much out of it tho'just the minimum you can get away with.
