Orson Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Sounds about right from what I've heard rumoured, although I thought the Griso was coming as well(maybe as on '06?) .... end of an era I guess though I somehow doubt we'll never see another "sporty" Moto Guzzi model. maybe just a hiatus...like Vanilla Ice's career...on hiatus They are Italian after all...sport bikes are in their blood.
Alex-Corsa Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 So what, the 850 le mans is a well sought after bike these days, 28 years after introduction. All parts still available. So Al as long as you can drive, the le mans wil serve you. And the V11s have been produced more years than the 850. I am only spotted on the Sports 1100ie 's ...LOL.
Skeeve Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 whats a honda 90? this a trail bike or something? 51806[/snapback] It's the single most successful [based on sales #s] motorcycle ever. First built in 1957? Honda just announced that it will build it's 150 millionth motorcycle this year, including "licensed" [this means "honda C50/70/90"] models. At least 100 million of that number are C50/70/90 builds. Looks like a scooter, but with 17" fat bicycle tires, and shifts via an automatic clutch. It's the machine that started it all: "You meet the nicest people on a Honda." [but the ones on Guzzis are more interestin'... ]
