Guest goffredo Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Goffredo Is Gianfranco no longer contesting the Italian Supertwins? He won the first race but I do not know if he was in the second race. Can you help me with information? 52669 I think he will partecipate to other races too. Not sure though, I think it depends on the money. I'll ask him this weekend. G. PS: great pics of the MGS, congratulations!
Paul Minnaert Posted May 26, 2005 Author Posted May 26, 2005 I asked the same question in anima g forum, and yes he was in another race, on a rice bike. >I'll ask him this weekend So you are in Assen?

Are you going to be there? Cheers, G.

All sums added, the travel won't cost less than 250 euro, which it's a lot and there are no good connections back, considering that the race is going to happen around 5 pm in the afternoon, it is pointless to have found that great low cost flight leaving Schipol at 2 pm... Do take some nice pictures for us! G.
Mal Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Paul, Jaap or whoever else is going I'm now going to be there too, do you know what times the races are? Still without camera though 'sorry, I'm sure some others will take some nice pics. If anyone wants to meet up on the way let me know. G, sorry you can't make it but hopefully there will be other races a bit closer to home. Mal

Admin Jaap Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Goffredo, can't you rent a car or bike for a lot less money?
Mal Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Yes we will make pictures. timeschedule here 52812 cheers Paul , will hopefully see you there, hopefully the weather will stay as good as it is now. Mal
Paul Minnaert Posted May 26, 2005 Author Posted May 26, 2005 the only worying thing is that sound level checks from police are said to be done:-(
Mal Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 the only worying thing is that sound level checks from police are said to be done:-( 52817 I assume this is to ensure a V twin sounds as it should, with hefty fines for quiet pipes With all those Ducatis around they won't notice a few Guzzis slipping by (I hope) Mal
Guest goffredo Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Goffredo, can't you rent a car or bike for a lot less money? 52815 Not really. There are some cheap rent-a-car offer but once you add fuel, motorways and extra milieage to do the 1300 km Paris-Assen-Paris, you end up paying quite a lot... I asked Moto Guzzi France if they could borrow me a bike but they refused Well, There will be four people from Anima Guzzista at the paddock though. I'll wait for the next appereance in France. Bol d'Or, perhaps? G.
