Guest marcialc Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 anyone have any experience with the new FBF x-over? A lot of people have reported good results with the stucchi. your thoughts would be appreciated...
Paul Minnaert Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 where is a picture online? cant find it on the fbf site
dlaing Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 I think currently FBF only has a crossover available for V11 Californias. It is an H-pipe.
Guest marcialc Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 they have an x-shaped crossover as well for the V11. It's brand new so that's probably why you can't find it on their web site. It's shown on their recent flyer, cost is $239.
Guest rarerider Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 I know there is a X-over that usually people use on Centauro, and I think is a Stucchi model. I've asked my mech about trade to it on the V11 too: he reccomended it on the Centauro but he thinks the stock one fits well on the V11. I've seen this report that can help anyway. http://www.manleycycle.com/Tech.htm
Guest marcialc Posted February 7, 2003 Posted February 7, 2003 thanks for the link... that's exactly what I'm trying to find out about the fbf x-over. if it will affect the peak power RPM. I'm pretty sure it fills in the mid-range hole like the stucchi...i think
Guest marcialc Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 ok so here's the deal...fbf says that they do have an x-over for the V11, however, it is still in development they expect to have it ready for distribution in "a couple of weeks". Cost will be around $239 for comparison, the stucchi is $250. mgcycles.com currently has them in stock right now.
