Amen to that. We do short rides in the morning only to be back by noon. Pavement in the Ft Worth/Dallas area acts like a huge heat sink so there's minimal cooldown at night. Life's a bitch, ainnit?

Yeah, but Dallas is a "dry heat".

Houston is just brutal, but I have never shoveled humidity.
