We do short rides in the morning only to be back by noon. Pavement in the Ft Worth/Dallas area acts like a huge heat sink so there's minimal cooldown at night. Life's a bitch, ainnit?

Houston is just brutal, but I have never shoveled humidity. http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...ast?query=77084 105F heat index-- It's good for the pores. Cooling down with frosty adult beverage, under the ceiling fan, after doing the yardwork. Maybe next week, I'll get up and get an early start. Houston-- it may be a hellhole, but it's MY hellhole, dammit.
