RTVs for electrical

Occasionally the question will be asked about what to use to seal an electrical item, connector, whatever and I recall we absolutely could not use acetic acid cure RTV's in out aircraft display manufacturing at wotk. Instead we used alcohol cure RTVs but at the time they were expensive and hard to get. Well here's some good news-
