Nuts N Bolts

Hey Guzzi's,

With the parts coming back next week for my 2000 v11, I'm going

to need to know the torque settings. Pretty much everything besides

the engine and frame, un-less of course I deside to put in a set of High Comp. Pistons.

I have my faithful "Tonti" manuel, which I'm sure has most of the settings.

But it would be a lot easier with v11 torque settings. Maybe its just me,

but when they wanted $190/$260 for a manuel, I said "Does that come

with a Lap-Dance???". I just can't see spending that kind of doe on an

engine thats pretty much 37 years old. Think of all the cool parts you

could get for that, hell that could be a PCIII for some guy out there who

needs one.

So, if anyone out there can send me a copy of the torque settings it would

be great. I've got 5 days to get her back together and make it to SECA.

So any time I can save is time well spent.

Peace,

Jedione68

I sent an email to jedione68 that I have a list of torque settings (pdf file) from the V7/T/T3 line. I'd be happy to email it to him- or anyone who wants it for that matter. Most of the values are going to cross over for standard settings.

send me a pm or an email if you want it.

Another good place to find standard torque specifications is from Greg Bender's Loop Frame site. Although the specs are for Loop Frames you will find the torques are the same for newer bikes in most cases.

Here is another.
