Diesel Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 2003 MG LeMans in the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, July 2006 Hmmm...That bike looks familiar. How's it working out for you?
felix42o Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 New paint and various other bits repaired after a crash, finally altogether in my driveway. Nice bike!!! I can't tell for sure but am curious...is that a Monte Carlo in the background?
Gregg Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Nice bike!!! I can't tell for sure but am curious...is that a Monte Carlo in the background? Hi Felix, No, it is a 2006 Honda Gold Wing tourer - mistifyingly smooth & fast when it is ridden by a Super-bike School Level 3 graduate ! Regards Gregg
-Martin.Glaeser- Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Probably the only V11 so close to the equator.....well, not exactly! See my remark below. In front of Raffles Hotel in Singapore, at night. In front of Raffles Hotel in Singapore, by day. To my surprise, I found an other V11 in Singapore. Mine is the black in front. Enjoy viewing -Martin-
Admin Jaap Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Hi Martin, there used to be a another forum member from Singapore with a Scura. He hasn't been around for a long time: Darth Maul
-Martin.Glaeser- Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Hi Martin, there used to be a another forum member from Singapore with a Scura. He hasn't been around for a long time: Darth Maul Thanks for the hint, Jaap. Well, this was Jan. 2003 - ages back in fast-paced Singapore! I havent heart anything from him since then. Anyway, I am in touch with a couple of other Guzzi Owners (2, to be precise). That is already PLENTY in Yamaha-Honda-Kawasaki land, as Singapore is heavily Japan dominated, at least regarding motobikes... But any further contact is welcome. Guzzi drivers in Malaysia - Indonesia - Thailand : WHERE ARE YOU?? regards -M-
dhansen Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Photo taken on Spruce Head Island, Maine. This bike spent its first 2 years running around San Francisco. Something like from sea to shining sea.................... 1
wsholar Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 In my driveway, my bike... and some of the LA Guzzi gang...
dlaing Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 The more logical anagram: cog = wheel no = no scenti = perfume literally, wheels without perfume so, the cognoscenti are bikers who ride without perfume in other words, Scura riders. Dirty beasts. Cog is a tooth on a wheel, so I think it translates better as "Ol' Stinky Tooth"
antonio carroccio Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 and some of the LA Guzzi gang... Hi there, who are they? Is there in the pic some member of this forum?
