luhbo Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Fairing on for long trip . . . Looks very British to me. Have fun in the Alps.
dawdish Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Me and my babies, an '81 G5 Cafe, and an '02 V11. Dave 1
dawdish Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Thanks Docc I just recently purchased the V11. I did a "fly and ride", picked it up from Les in Oakland, and rode it home to Colorado. The G5 is my daily ride. I built her last year with many custom pieces. Shes a shear joy to ride but not for the long haul. 1
ferguzzi Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 about time, I suppose.... Don't ask me why it's sideways. 1
WellWellWell Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 It's a pretty heavily modified 97 1100 sport i. It belongs to Sean Fader, who is well known to many SoCal Guzzi folks. My Ballabio, on the left, was at his new shop, RTL Moto in Santa Ana, so a pic seemed in order.
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 It looks to have Bub exhaust. I have Bub's ..... feckin loud but I really like the way the power comes on ...!!
WellWellWell Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Probably so. It was a track bike for quite awhile I believe. 1
GraeV11 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Looks good but how does it work? Keeps the wind off my chest but unfortunately finds its resonant frequency at 4500 rpm and things get a little scarey. Need to rethink how I have mounted it.
