Well, my riding skills were tested on Sunday, and I did not know what was in store for my Quota and myself. We came out unscathed, but it was a close one on multiple occasions... I will report on it tomorrow...

Amarillo is really easy to capture because unlike South Texas, there is no humidity. I have some example of early morning fog while travelling to Montgomery from Navasota... Unreal! 1
p6x Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Same early morning situation on Sunday, before down. As soon as you are in motion, the speed gets you to hit the dew point, and your visor is drenched. You need to continuously turn you head to get the wind to move the water. docc Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Absolutely gorgeous V11 Sport! Does the regulator hang at a funny angle? Not loose on one side? 1
DucatiGuzziIndian Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Yeah thats temporary just to get it into the airflow. Winter project to screw around with it to adjust its position so it is at least somewhat straight. Will also try to shorten the turn signal stalks a little, with some type of custom spacer thats a little shorter than the stock spacers currently in place. 1
docc Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Lots of us just remove the spacers and mount the signals directly. 3

The reg doesn't need that much airflow as the fins and body act as a heatsink as well as cooling fins. Getting it into the airflow at your location also gets it into the road crud and rain water spray. Here's where mine is fitted and the second image is the location of the Reg on my 1198 Ducati. See the battery, below the battery is the EMU and under that is the REG, right behind the back of the oil cooler outlet and under a side fairing. Both seem to work ok. They aren't old Pommie bike charging systems. Phil Edited November 1 by Lucky Phil 2

Guzzimax Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Much as I love my silver V11 Sport, the Coppa, Rosso Corsa etc, there’s something sublime about a greenie. I don’t think that color will ever be upstaged 2
