For the foreigners, that road is quite famous in Australia. I've never been down it, but looking at the map, I can see why one might go along there on a bike.

Rode in that sort of weather a few times as a teenager and still the thought of black ice gives me the jitters!

As a silly ole git now.... no way in hell.

Thankfully, we don't see it here, unless you go looking for it in the high country in winter.

Yes, but it doesn't have to be that. Driving cars on that white stuff can be fun, but is enough to have me terrified of having to ride a bike on it.
