docc Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I've only ever seen one other V11 that tank color: gstallons So, white face gauges?
footgoose Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 if that's the one from cycle trader, yes. a 2003- an '02 carryover. I like those.
gstallons Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I thought I was the only one with that flavor ? If you remove the seat you can see evidence of paint fade .
gstallons Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Sorry , the color on Amarrache's bike & mine are different than the one above & all the others around .
gstallons Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 My bike came from Fla. I thought it was sun bleached . It showed some sun bleach evidence but it is still different from all the other lime green bikes. BTW , docc you sure have a good memory !

Yours is the only tank color like that I've ever seen until Amarrache showed up. I remember we talked about whether it was the early V11 Green that had faded. But, no, it is it's own unique color: Clearcoat light metallic lime?
docc Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 My, my: here it is along with the fabulous *burgundy* . . . from the "2001" catalog: 1
gstallons Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 And now I have 3 tanks , and can have 3 different bikes . The bad news is I have ridden less than 120 mi. in 3 yrs .
