Guest Nogbad Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Let me get this right. You have a bike of 1100cc and it takes you (over!!!) an hour to travel ~40 miles? Move. 8-) 56171[/snapback] Heathrow section of the M25. Much of the time I'm filtering at 25 - 30 mph. With the current roadworks, some sections have temporary lanes that are too narrow to filter through. On a clear weekend morning, I can do the distance in between 40 and 50 minutes which isn't bad considering the urban sections and the fact there are more cameras than a society wedding.

mike wilson Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Depends where you live. The roads here are so uncongested that I normally have to be very restrained with the right hand until the beastie is warmed up. Only on rare occasions do I have to filter. Just lucky, I suppose. Not to mention happy. 8-)
