supertwin1 Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 I like the '67 Pontiac GTO behind the Buick Grand National
Guest redguzziv10 Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 That's a seriously ugly car from an American point of view as well. Bleah. both of 'em. Get a bug-eye sprite: http://www.classicsportscars.com/11B014652.htm or if ya' wanna pimp, get a '63 Lincoln. http://www.americandreamcars.com/1963lincolncnvt072704.htm (not a very good picture- it's got suicide doors, a 390 cubic inch plant, and loads of class) 56485 im with jrt, Frog eyed Sprite THE classic cool car
antonio carroccio Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Without discrimination, I dislike American cars. But, there is one that would be the one……
GuzzTim Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 LOL... good comparison. get a Sunbeam Tiger.. best of both worlds..
belfastguzzi Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 c'mon guys...are u serious? 56589 excellent, but they're still right – that's one ugly American car. I can imagine that Darth probably has one. You guys obviously have too much petrol.
belfastguzzi Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 or for horsepower, get yourself to e-bay and start bidding... e-bay Q&A: "Q: How tippy is this when driving and cornering? What is a safe speed for it? A: Well it has never tipped over. Of course it is a huge horse built on a car frame, so you need to drive it as such. I have driven this car all around...blah, blah"
jrt Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 ok, ok, so we've established that you don't like euro-roadsters. Probably doesn't have air conditioning anyhow. So I guess a VW beetle is right out.

jrt Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Wait'll you're old as I am. I'm beginning to like the looks of the old VW Combi trucks again. We had one when I was a kid, so I guess it's nostalgia. Another car we had when I was young might fit your bill. Look for an early '70's Pontiac Roadrunner. That was a wicked fast car. My brother put a police 400 cubic inch shortblock into one and proceeded to grenade 4 pistons (at one time) in a street drag race. Fun while it lasted, but too many tickets.
