twhitaker
Check with the Havens first. I'll bet they have something you will like. I have Vista Cruise on mine. A number of V11 owners swear by Throttlemeister. Give Todd some notice as he might have to order.
txrider
More like a throttle assist is the ThrottleRocker, a paddle like affair which attaches to the throttle grip and enables one to use the palm to relieve wrist fatigue. And $10.00 well spent.
twhitaker
If you look at Dr Gils crash pictures you will notice the Throttle Rocker on his.

Guest Nogbad
Are these things SAFE????
Guest bshpilot
Are these things SAFE???? 57904[/snapback] probably no more or less safe than the 'lectronic cruise control on my 8500lb pickup truck ! hell for that matter my k1200lt has a full electronic cruise (one of the nicest & most accurate) ive ever had the experiance of using. consider how dangerous fatigue can be...much less a NUMB arm/hand/wrist... Keith Foster
I like the NEP brand locks, easy to install, cheap (like $12.95) available at most shops. When I installed mine I flipped around the tab that engages with the two metal cable elbows. I use it daily on the way to work.
dbdicker
only addition I can make is a negative one........the throttlemeister doesn't seem to be much help. It obviously can't adjust for even tiny changes in road slope. You'd be surprised how many time throttle adjustments you make without even thinking about it. Go with a throttle rocker...........they're easy and they work.
Guest bshpilot
well my problems are solved...among so many other things... the wizards of engineering (and i mean that in the MOST COMPLEMENTARY & RESPECTFUL WAY) have worked another engineering feat... MPH has fab.'d some parts and gotten the THROTTLE MEISTER fitted <and working> to the TBR clips-ons...the damages are not yet known...but thank god i got 3 kids w/ which i can fork over as payment wonder if the wife will notice if one of the kids is missin' ? Steve G.
Probably the best 14$cdn I've spent, the throttlelocker. It works very well to reduce hand/arm fatigue, but because of the sensitive nature of the V11 throttle, a good bump can make the bike accelerate quickly when you don't want it. Ciao, Steve G. Greg Field
I like the NEP brand locks, easy to install, cheap (like $12.95) available at most shops. When I installed mine I flipped around the tab that engages with the two metal cable elbows. I use it daily on the way to work. Keith: What model of NEP locker did you use? Thanks! I need something like this for Billy Bob. My hand's still a "claw" today. Eeeks!
felix42o
I had a throttle rocker, worked great this weekend from Bend, Oregon to almost Klamath Falls. Then it fell off when I went to adjust it and it blew off the side of a cliff. FWIW, though, I'm buying another tomorrow. Worth every bit of the 12 bucks spent on it. Greg Field
I'm not wanting a rocker. What I need is a locker, so I can let my right hand dangle intermittently, free of any connection to the right bar. Any specific models that fit, or should I just rig up my own thumbscrew locker? Also, I do not want a Throttlemeister because I love my mirrors and bar ends as they are.
KiloSjon
Perhaps you could modify a bar end... Little flap on it to set the position. Have to look at the bike if that's possible, but may be worth a try...
