That was meant as a compliment!! If it wasn't for all the characters on this forum, it wouldn't be such a great place to hang out. :)

BTW - I've been pretty damn far from Ok for a long time now, and I'm much better for it!

cheers,

A Fellers.

Good to listen to you guys argue, Makes for a good arvo at work. I"m going to change my springs around cause on my scura I use the fast idle all the time, It wont start without it . If I use the throttle sometimes it gets to much and backfires,Then blows the throttlebody off the inlet rubber. So I"m guna giveitago.

cheers Gilly. :luigi:

Is a manual fast idle lever not an anachronism with EFI?

No, on a motorcycle you just don't want to have a servo jacking your throttle.

We don't want bikes to be like cars.

I just got a new car, and the computer in that puts the wipers on when it rains, controls the aircon and does all the gearchanging for you. It's got traction control, brake assist, ABS, cruise control. If someone dazzles you in the mirror the mirror tints itself. I'm stunned. The amount of technology in that thing is amazing. You just point it where you want to go and press one pedal to go and the other to stop.

The most unbelievable thing of all is..... it's a Skoda!

He means that it's a VW. No, an Audi. Er, something like that.

Best quality control in the group, though.

Today I drove it to Sheffield and back. 60 mpg. Both ways. No kidding. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:
