callison Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Griso announcement Looks like the long awaited Griso is only a few weeks away. Maybe.
Paul Minnaert Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 what is surprising is that they made it even longer than the breva the main differences from the technicals, so where comes more torque an power from with the same cam? Only the silencer? griso: Wheelbase : 1,543 mm Trail : 105 mm Rake : 25°45’ Rear wheel travel : 120 mm Maximum power : 65 kW at 8,000 rpm (indicative) Maximum torque : 94 Nm at 5,400 rpm (indicative breva 1100, Wheelbase : 1,500 mm Trail : 120 mm Rake : 25°30’ Rear wheel travel : 140 mm Maximum power : 61.8 kW at 7,800 rpm (indicative) Maximum torque : 86.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm (indicative)

Alex-Corsa Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Griso announcement Looks like the long awaited Griso is only a few weeks away. Maybe. Thank God, This one is gonna take the market of "clone" bikes by surprise. Stylistically IMO is a piece of art.
Guest Nogbad Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 It's nice. Why abandon stainless pipes for old fashioned chrome plate though. I guess you wouldn't want to ride a new Griso through a British winter.......

velofish Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 I hope it sells like hotcakes, but I still think its ugly. John
callison Posted September 1, 2005 Author Posted September 1, 2005 I hope it sells like hotcakes, but I still think its ugly. John 59071[/snapback] Except for the 55 gallon trash can muffler, the Griso looks pretty good in the flesh. For technical merits only, I'm planning to buy a Breva 1100. From the back, the Breva is a pretty nice bike. As to whether I can ever absolve the tank of its visual impact, I'll just have to wait and see.
helicopterjim R.I.P. (I could always use my Centauro motor as a starting point!)
tomsp Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 dang.... I think I'd buy one of those things if I could figure out what the heck they're saying!
