Is there anything tricky or out of the ordinary about installing the MG ti cans and ECU? I'm thinking about trying to find a set and install them myself. Does it require any other "tuning" of related components, (ie throttle bodies, etc), or is it just a simple plug and play system? I was fortunate to get to hear a set on an 02 LeMans at the Rolla, MO dealership (Interstate Motorcycles), and I decided right then and there, if and when I bought a V11, I was going to have to have these cans.

There are different sets i.e. ECU maps: pre '03 and post '03. You'll need the ECU with the post '03 map. If you only can get a pre '03 you'll have to load a different map. Only specific tuning centers can do this (together with dyno run).

Assuming I get the post '03 map, then is it a plug and play system?

My 2003(actually 2002) naked has a set of the Ti,s and accompanying ecu. it was strictly plug and play and it runs awesome, not a hiccup. Also the throttle response is crisp and powerful, much improved over stock! :bike:

I have an 02 Scura. I bought the Ti exhausts with the computer and it was easy to install. I don't recall getting any instructions with the brackets but after some trial and error they went on. It took a little while to get both of the cans to align when looking at the bike from the rear, but once done, they look - sound - perform great. I definately recommend the upgrade.
