Paul Minnaert Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Loris capirossi started from pole, did a lot of laps behind rossi, took over and won! Rossi was out because the drove against melandri in a corner:-), but more than a 4th place he didn't have up to that time.
gthyni Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Loris capirossi started from pole, did a lot of laps behind rossi, took over and won! ähum, capirex was never behind rossi today. Melandri was in the lead from start, Biaggi and capirossi followed. Rossi charged from 11th on the grid Biaagi and Capirex fought for the lead, Melandri drop a bit and was caught by Rossi (and Tamada) until Vale did a mistake in breaking and hit Melandri, both men dwn and out. Max tried to pass Loris but run wide a few laps from the end and never managed a get close enough again. Ducatis second win ever, and a great day with 1st and Checa in 4th on the home track of HRC. The old tired balding roman was 45 sec in front of his supertalent team mate in HRC
belfastguzzi Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I was out and forgot to set the video recorder this morning. Was it an exciting race? Seems like there were a lot of crashes. Someone said that Richard Britton has been killed today in the road racing? Bike seized and he hit a post. I suppose it must be true. That's another big loss for all affected and also for local road racing.

Paul Minnaert Posted September 18, 2005 Author Posted September 18, 2005 capirex was never behind rossi today I meant Biaggi
orangeokie Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I meant Biaggi 60615[/snapback] How's about putting "spoiler" in the title of your thread (and no "Ducati wins") for us poor yanks who were set to watch the tape delay in a couple of hours?

Guest jedione68 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Paul, That was Great!!! Just caught it today on speed channel. Ducati really need that one, exspecailly in JAPAN and from the Pole too. As a Guzzi/Duck guy I was jumping up and down (my wife just gave me that look), but I was stoked. It was so close, until the end, and then he just pulled away. I did feel a little bad for Rossi, just cause he was really coming up the feild and he's such a great racer. I was stocked for Maxx's 2nd too. Keep us up to date on all your mods. Peace and Rubber side down. JEDIONE68
helicopterjim R.I.P. Maybe a chink in the armour....?
antonio carroccio Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I love to hear that Italian song. Twice!!! Bravo Loris!!!
gthyni Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 And Carlos Checa 3rd. PLS Ducati Corse: Keep Checa instead of signing Gibernau
antonio carroccio Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I think Sete will enjoy the Ducati team in 2006. Does Sete have balls enough to ride the Duc?
supertwin1 Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Britton and Dunlop, they must be sizing up the field from the sidelines with a pint in both hands....godspeed bothers....RIP but make lots opf noise while 'yer at it!
