Martin Barrett Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Reminds me of this, when they get a bit crossed up.
Guest PAULSMART Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Hmmmmm..... Meanwhile, some poor sod is wondering if he will ever see his stolen goldwing again and whether he'll get a decent insurance payout! What!!!! you didn't think these guys use their own bikes Paul
Guest bshpilot Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 i figure this guy will be bitchin up a storm to his dealer about fork seals and head bearings. lucky for honda and the dealer, he put those tell tale marks on the rear...can you say WARRENTY VOIDED !
Steve G. Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Having ridden one of these big vessels quite a few times, I can confirm there's enough grunt to lift the front on these. Having a considerable measure of mechanical sympathy in my bones, I would never consider doing this to any of my bikes, but plead guilty when it comes to demo bikes, which I think these squids are using. Ciao, Steve G.
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 There is a fellow who works at Trev Deeley Buell who does this on a full dressed Harley and carries it all the way down the street. If you meet him he seems like the last person who would be able to do this....he weighs about 140 lbs and is a very mild mannered gentleman!
dmoon64 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Hey Motomaniac, When I was a sales rep for a video distribution company I had a video store in Landrum SC. Ran by a guy named Mason Crain. Nice area of the country down there.
