Guest Britcheflee Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I have come across a small set of Halogen spot lights which I am considering putting on my V11 Ballabio - they look like they will fit nicely - my concern is that these are 55 watt - is this going to burn out something? - I am not running any other electrical items and I am going to put an in line fuse - I was thinking of running this off the spare section on the fuse box - grateful for any advice. The original application for these are for a car so I am concerned they are going to overload the electrial system on the bike. Lee
Guest bshpilot Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Properly wired w/ a RELAY (power drawn from the battery) would be the SAFEST way to go. even at that youll need to listen to anyone that may be able to tell you about out put of our charging system.
callison Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Running one 55 watt extra light would be pushing it. Run two 55 watt extra lights and you will be pushing it!
Steve G. Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 If you put both of these lights on, you will exede the output of the charging system. Ciao, Steve G.
