Guest roger Posted March 4, 2003 Posted March 4, 2003 Hi all, My name is Roger. I just bought a Scura (S 545) after totalling my beloved v11 sport. My question concerns the Ohlins rear shock. The rebound ajustment is stuck. It will not move. What's the fix? I will call Pro Italia this morning to see if it is a warrantee issue. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Roger.
Guest Darth Maul Posted March 4, 2003 Posted March 4, 2003 the black rebound adjuster can be a little tight when its new. you might want to try spraying a little WD-40 into it...? Also make sure you are not at the max/min setting. just my 2 cents. hope it helps.
profWacko Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Are you the same Roger that totalled his green V11 at the Ramona Rally in October? If so, how's your shoulder? In either case, Howdy and welcome to the list. I am the guy with the red/grey V11 Le Mans. Ride well. Ride safe. -Jack Price Glendale, CA 02 V11 Le Mans (36k miles now) 01 KTM Duke II 83 V50 III
callison Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Here's a link to the Scura Ohlins manual. I probably got it from this site somewhere, but this will save you from searching for it. http://ryuv11.free.fr/v11/scuraohlins/scuraohlins.htm
