this was shown at Paris today. Somebody at Voxan must have stole the molds for the LeMans fairings from Guzzi....7419894.jpeg

The was one at the International V11 Meeting last September. First (and only) time I'd seen one. Very nice.

The new one doesn't appear to be as nice in my opinion.

I'm intrigued by the Voxans, especially the cafe racer, but they're hard to find any ino on.

Voxan are looking to appoint a new UK importer soon.

Not many exciting launches at Paris so far-execpet the Aprilia 450s- they look cool but rather pricey,

Sete is moving to Voxan! At least he looks happy now.

I'm happy to see Voxan is still alive and kicking :)

I hadn't heard much from them and thought that they had gone under.

I saw one at the 2002 IOM TT and really liked it. The more v twins on the market, the better

Uh – you'll not be happy now, after that race. Better get those black lace-up boots back on and stay with the Voxan, Sete.

Styling wise the Voxan is very reminiscent of the V11. I don't know what the characteristics of the engine are though. If it's a short stroke revvy thing I wouldn't want it. The long stroke Buell may not make as much power, but it is more efficient, particularly at part throttle. This is why the Buell will make 55 mpg and the V11 is lucky to make 35.

A Harley Sportster more efficient than the V11? I fear you jest,oh lord of Nog.

It is more efficient I'm afraid. Look at the fuel economy figures according to the EU test regime.

By efficiency I mean the amount of shaft HP you get per unit mass of fuel burned. I don't doubt that the V11 makes more power and torque but the engine's "heat rate" is greater than that of the Sportster.
