v50man Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Broke the brake pedal on my V11. Dealer -- as well as MGNA -- were out of this item. Had read some good things about MPH on this site and others, so I went to their website -- saw that they carried an improved braike pedal that was actually less expensive than stock. Called 'em on Wednesday afternoon -- part arrived on Friday. Back riding Saturday. Good product -- good dealer. Will support them whenever possible.
bridgepress Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I'd love to support them, but I can't seem to get to their website and haven't been able to for a while...what's the secret?

Guest bshpilot Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I'd love to support them, but I can't seem to get to their website and haven't been able to for a while...what's the secret? 62858[/snapback] all it took me was about 15seconds to come up w/ their name & address via google. HERE ill cut and paste it for you and save you some time... MPH Cycles, (281) 647-6557, 16510 Park Row, Houston, TX 77084 They too, like all of us, ocassionally have network/web service issues...i know theyve talked about changeing providers... Call 'em, ask for TODD...you wont find a more helpful bunch ! as testimony...i hauled/rode my v11 from virginia to houston (at my own expense BOTH directions, for 'em to perform WARRENTY WORK..and im glad i did) ! hell i like those guys so much im gonna move my wife 3 kids and myself CLOSER to 'em
stormsedge Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Todd's email at MPH is mphparts@sbcglobal.net k
Dr Gil Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 After crashing my '02 Le Mans and starting the rebuild I've taken the opportunity to spread my business around a bit and deal with several Guzzi shops. Todd at MPH has been far and away the best stocked, competitively priced, most helpful (he actually sent me a digital file of the complete parts list and diagrams for my bike...huge help in rebuilding) and personalized service I've gotten. His communication is excellent (email and phone) but yes, his website does suck. He tells me he's working on it. <_> And no, I'm not in his employ or getting a kickback. I'm just a VERY satisfied customer and he's pretty much exclusively getting all my business in the future.
Guest cduzzi Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I have had service on 2 occassions over the past few weeks at MPH Cycles in Houston and have had outstanding service. These guys are all into Guzzis and they really want to help their fellow riders. Main reason I took my '04 Cali there was for the cam kit retrofit. They went through the bike and made several adjustments in the fuel system (TPS, balancing, etc) and straightened out problems caused by non-Guzzi dealer where I live. As a result, the bike has never ran better and I now know what a great engine is in my Guzzi and I only thought I knew before ! I was back this past weekend because I discovered the odometer had stopped working so got that replaced while under warranty. The owner, Mike Havens worked on the bike himself. He did about 1/2 hr of trouble shooting on turn signal issue involving Kisan and never charged me a penney. They repair/maintain BMW MC's and Beemer and Mercedes cars as well and have an excellent service facility . While sitting in the waiting room I witnessed how well they took care of a guy's BMW car and was a no charge due to prior work that Mike said wasn't done the way he wanted it done. Their sign out front says it all 'No Excuses Service'. To top of my experience, Mike took time to map out a great ride route for me back home! And I would echo what others have said about great communications - Todd will do whatever necessary to answer questions and make things right for you. These guys will get my business from now on and they are well worth the 2 hr + trip it takes to get there!
Wick Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Heck, the West Tennessee folks are 10 plus hours away and only go to Houston for our bikes and maintenance on them. MPH is one of the best, if not the best. Wick
orangeokie Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I am a very satisfied customer of MPH and Todd. I had heard on this forum that MPH may have a Ti Exhaust kit for my '03 Lemans. I sent an email to Todd, and next day received a return email with total price and shipping. I called him up and did the deal. Three days later I have the kit in my hands in Pennsylvania. Great mail order parts service.
