I think the most important thing about not crashing is will power...a no fear attitude helps. 5. It always concerned me that if they were used in anger, they might well trash the frame? : 63228[/snapback] The weak point on the Sport crash bars is the upper mount- they use the same bolts as the radiator. I've crashed my other bikes with crash bars and always seem to come out ok- I surfed my G5 into a bar ditch at 50-70 mph one time- literally crouched on top of it. I went with the ones from Sport Cycle Pacific in Santa Barbara (805) 966 6508 ask for Dave. They look great. They stick out farther and are at least a 1/3 thicker. And not expensive. The JK look the stuff, but the ones from SCP have that... I could slide these for a 100 feet or so meat. And that's what got me. Know if we we're talking the 4 Valve crash guards, I'd have to say that the J kenny's look the best and seem to be the beefer 4 valve crash guard yet.
