jenslh Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Nice piece of work from Rolf (Norway) and Georg (Germany) http://www.guzzitech.dk/05/05-06/Clutch%20...0the%20cure.pdf Regards Jens www.guzzitech.dk/english
dlaing Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 I suppose that could also work for disk brakes, although I'd be afraid of weakening a brake disk...
jrt Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 weaken it by a lot! The clutch plate is supported at all points- the brake is pinched at one point. I am curious if the cuts in the clutch intermediate plate lead to increased friction plate wear? And that said- I know that the intermediate plate does warp occasionally, but isn't this pretty rare?
