Hey all, just picked me up a new V11 Nero Corsa the other week..... couldent believe my luck as NZ has only ever had the Rosso corsa's. So I have no idea were this one poped up from but I aint complaining.

Speaking of the Nero... I have only ever seen it pictured on a US web site, so how many of the Neros are about???

The nero is my 2nd Guzzi two years ago I sold a 1100i sport that I had for a couple of years and before that a CX500 Turbo. Just sold a VTR1000 Firstorm and I have to say its bloody good being back on a Guzzi.

Just did the National Guzzi Rally and took out 'best modern' award, the rally was 400 odd km's away so I had a chance to enjoy the bike.... just awesome it was :mg:

Looks good, I see you have Ventura bike pack rails mounted, how do you find the system?

Do you mount the rack facing forward over the pillion seat?

To do so do you take the cowl off?

Or do you you have it facing backwards?

Do you carry a pilion if you do it this way?

If no pilion and facing backwards does it put too much weight rearwards?

Have you tried two packs back to back?

Any pics in tour mode?

Yeah mate Ohlins all round and carbon fiber... the cans are local made Neptunes black stainless ovels.

Price.... check this out, was $27k (nz) they droped all Guzzi's down to $17k I herd this and went in but all were sold.... just had 2nd handers for $20k, mate rang me the next day and said they have one more new.... fuking sweet and it was the Nero, raced in there in disbelief and said thats my bike :D

They did a deal with the Guzzi factory to drop the prices as there were 20 V11 Breva's due in and they needed the floor space.

heres a pic showing the Corsa paint, and the cans.

Hi martin, Ventura is great always had them on my bikes.

I have no pics of the V11 packed up but here s my last bike which I pack the same as the Guz.

-rack faces rearward (sits on seat otherwise, wont fit down)

-seat cowl off

-pack faces forward

-No pillion,s but if I was to I'd face it rearwards)

-I'd expect so, so never tried (dosent make sence to)

-no, but have seen it done looks very stable and safe

ps: note the sport rack/bag, awesome for day rides (seat cowl on).

Thanks, I've been thinking of treating myself. It should fit as well as the Teknos. So I can take even more stuff I won't use with me. It's just a case of where to stop bike pack and rack, second bag, sports rack, pillion rail - probably forget that. It's just a bit pricy compared to my £15 tail pack , but it wouldn't have scuffed my tail, when taking it off to get tool kit out from underseat in pouring rain, and not resecuring quite right. Pay your money make your choice.
