V11UK Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I was disturbed to see the mention of of the Metzeler Roadtecs, Chris. Are they standard fitment? 66820[/snapback] Yes and very good they are too! The web site for owners of modern Guzzi's is in its infancy but looks promising .
Baldini Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 ...The web site for owners of modern Guzzi's is in its infancy but looks promising .... Guess Todd's looking at shifting a few PC111's...
Alex-Corsa Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 LONG LIVE THE V11 - The LAST REAL BIG BLOCK GUZZI PS: I know a person or two who insist that REAL Guzzi twins are ONLY the V120º chain driven bikes and they can back up their claim with even more rationale and data. Well........ according to another theory(not mine) , the last real Guzzis (or last of the "modern" era Guzzi's) were produced in '98.-. We all know what happened in '99 and after.....
antonio carroccio Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I have a speculation now. Listen careful… On the Italian magazine Racer, they are talking about a facelift of the V11 LeMans. The details are on the next number, Christmas edition. This news comes from guzzisti.it There is hope friends, the V11LeMans is still alive!
Guest goffredo Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 As anticipated, the V11 range is officialy out of production. It could have been oh-so-much different, it could have been the perfect roadster but well... It has been a fabolous history none the less. A toast to one of the most beautiful Moto Guzzi ever and let's hope for a worthy V12 in the future... G.
docc Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Here, here! A toast! "We few, we lucky few. We band of brothers!" ws
antonio carroccio Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Goffredo, I have a doubt about what you has said. The info about a new V11 with a new jacket is almost plausible. Where do You have got your own info?
